NBA DFS Picks: Jazz vs. Nuggets Game 6 DraftKings Showdown strategy, lineup advice - DraftKings Nation

ersamoyor.blogspot.com

The Denver Nuggets looked to be cooked in their first round series against the Utah Jazz after going down 3-1. A win in Game 5 to extend the series gave Denver a bit of life. More intensity on defense was key for the Nuggets in their win to make the series 3-2. Donovan Mitchell may have something to say about the Nuggets making it 3-3. He’s been on fire and looking like a superstar this postseason. Let’s take a look at some DraftKings Showdown picks to help you build your lineup for the contest, which locks at 9:00 p.m. ET.

Set your DraftKings lineup here.

Captain’s Pick

Rudy Gobert ($13,500)

Gobert seems like a good value pivot off of D-Mitch at Captain. Most of the ownership here will go to Mitchell and Nikola Jokic, who are the most expensive options. Gobert is a decent play given the flashes of dominance in the post of Joker. Gobert gives us a reasonable floor at this price, which gives us some roster flexibility. It may be tougher to fit in Mitchell and Jokic if we Captain one of them. I’m fine banking on Gobert going for a double-double.

Fade of the Game

Michael Porter Jr. ($7,400)

It’s just hard to trust Porter at the price we’re getting. He’s still priced up as if he were in the seeding round. I’d maybe consider him as a good GPP play if he gets down to the $6K range, given we know the type of ceiling game he can produce. The issue is he isn’t going to get many minutes because he’s a defensive liability. So if the Nuggets keep this one close, we should see too much of MPJ.

Value Picks

Royce O’Neale ($5,200) — This seems like a great price for O’Neale, who continues to see huge minutes as a glue guy in the starting lineup. He’s played at least 37 minutes in back-to-back games. If this one is close — which I’m expecting — then O’Neale should see around 30-35 minutes. He isn’t going to fill it up but offers enough peripheral stats to cover this salary pretty easily.

PJ Dozier ($2,200) — It’s hard to find good value in playoff Showdowns. Dozier is a rare case of a bench player seeing enough minutes to return value at a low price. We don’t normally see guys like Dozier priced this low. I feel like $3K is a better pricing for him. Dozier has played at least 20 minutes in two straight and has returned big value compared to this price.
