My sister-in-law is a Pennsylvania letter carrier. I called her to see if what I heard about mail delivery slowdown was true. She said they were told automatic mail sorters were not to be used. I now hear they are being removed from post offices without explanation. She said mail is sorted in Harrisburg and then sent to the local office. Some days, they only receive a light load of mail and then several days later they get a dump of mail but they are not allowed overtime to deliver the mail. They also can't do overtime to cover for a sick co-worker. She delivers to businesses and said she has received several packages that were postmarked two weeks earlier. Is this a practice run to delay vote by mail ballots to suppress the votes? Isn't voter suppression illegal? Or is it allowed for Trump?

Amazon should offer to cover costs of mail-in ballots
If President Trump cuts funding for the U.S. Postal Service, resulting in delays in delivering the mail-in ballots to the local Board of Elections, it's time for Amazon to step up and announce it will cover the cost of all absentee/mail-in ballots being delivered to the local Board of Elections free of charge.
The voter fills out the mail-in ballot and calls Amazon Deliver, FedEx or UPS to pick it up. Jeff Bezos picks up the tab or splits it with Bill Gates and others with significant discretionary income who want to insure that all votes are counted. The important thing is that the ballots arrive at the Board of Elections on time. It doesn't matter if the ballot is personally delivered or comes via the Post Office, Amazon, FedEx or UPS.
Result: every ballot is delivered and counted and attempts to suppress the number of votes cast is defeated.
