West Virginia running backs coach Chad Scott has a track record of being a good recruiter. He's pulled in top talent at Kentucky, North Carolina and, now, West Virginia. Once the players get there, he also further develops a bond with them. That's something that starts in recruiting and continues throughout their time in college.... but it doesn't necessarily make the two related. See, some coaches will act all nice and show interest during recruiting, then berate players once they arrive on campus. For Scott - and this WVU staff as a whole - the relationships are real. They're building a deeper bond with the players that should last a lifetime. Scott talked about that in the video above.
