BELOIT (WKOW) -- Beloit Police Department is sending out a warning to homeowners to be on alert. Surveillance video from earlier this week shows the steps some burglars took to steal from an unsuspecting victim.
It starts with one person knocking on the door and the homeowner lets them inside. Three others get out of the SUV and follow shortly after while the man in the bright yellow jacket distracts the victim and talks with her on the porch.
Beloit Police Department is hoping someone recognizes the man's voice. There have been other similar incidents -- so people in other communities should be careful as well.
