The Jewish Family and Children’s Services of Northern New Jersey has adopted a new logo to go with its new marketing strategy. HarrisonRand, a family-run agency based in Hudson County, designed the logo with input from JFCS staff and board members.

The design symbolizes the agency’s mission — JFCS has continued to be a safety net, providing comprehensive, integrated services ides to the people of Bergen, Passaic, and Hudson counties.

The triangles in the logo’s Star of David mosaic represent the services that JFCS offers.  The colors in the icons refer to the four pillars of service – older adults (blue), mental health (yellow), food insecurity (red), and basic needs assistance (light blue). The Star of David is navy blue, representing the underlying truth that the agency’s mission is based on Jewish traditions and values.

For more than 80 years, the agency has provided essential services to the community. Over the last eight months, those needs have increased significantly. The new logo shows that JFCS will be there for vulnerable seniors, individuals, and families, no matter what. It helps JFCSNNJ stand out in the changing world of social media and digital marketing.

JFCSNNJ also has embarked on a new marketing strategy, which includes plans for an updated, fresher website, and a new tagline: “Empowering People. Transforming Lives.”
